Epiphanius G. Nesterovsky (1857 -?) - Russian theologian, teacher and spiritual writer.

About his life remained very little information. He graduated from the course at the Kiev Theological Academy [1] and taught homology and liturgical studies there for a while; F. I. Titov in his diaries negatively spoke of him as a teacher [2] . Then he taught the same two subjects at the Kursk Theological Seminary [3] .
His main works are: “Liturgy or the science of the Orthodox church service”, originally published in Kursk in 1895 (part 1, 2 editions, Moscow, 1901; part II, 2 editions, St. Petersburg, 1905; at the beginning of the XX century, the book was used widely known as a textbook and was translated into Bulgarian in translation and with the additions of Hieromonk Makarii ( Sofia , 1906) [4] , however, negative reviews [5] were also encountered; "Samples of the patristic sermon" (Kursk, 1899).
