Biography

Born in 1873 in Penza . After graduating from the medical faculty of Moscow University in 1895, he left for the Khvalynsk district of the Saratov province , where he organized an almshouse for the elderly, assembled a library , and headed food committees in the famine. During the revolution of 1905, he defended the rebellious peasants and was expelled from the province. He settled near St. Petersburg, worked in a hospital in the village of Vartemyagi , built a surgical building there, and in 1909 he moved to the Zemsky hospital of the village of Mikhail Archangel at the Nevskaya Zastava , where he remained until the end of his life.

Until 1913 he was the only doctor in the hospital, later he took the position of chief doctor and went into surgery and at the same time worked as a school doctor in two schools of the village. With the outbreak of World War I, Tsimbalin opened a hospital with 200 beds in the hospital and headed a committee to help the families of the wounded.

Death

Vladimir Vladimirovich Tsimbalin at the end of 1919 saved patients with typhus , as a result of which he became infected, and on January 6, 1920 his life was cut short. He was buried at the Shuvalovsky cemetery [3] .

Personal life

There is no information about his wife, but it is known that he had a son, Vladimir Tsimbalin Jr. (1906-1950), who was buried with him at the Shuvalovsky cemetery, a teacher at the Polytechnic Institute, inventor

In the besieged Leningrad, Zina and Yura Tsimbalins lived. January 14, 1942 Zina asked friends "Finnish sled to take Yura to the hospital named after his father."
