Career

Youth Career

Since 2009, Farfan studied at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill , where he played for the North Carolina Tar Hills university team [1] . During his studies, Farfan also played at the Orange County Blue Star clubs [2] , Ventura County Fusion clubs [3] [4] , Los Angeles Legends [5] and Ogden Outlaws [6] from PDL- leagues .

Professional career

On January 13, 2011, Farfan was drafted by the Philadelphia Union club with 23rd number in the second round of the MLS SuperDraft 2011 [7] . He made his club debut on April 6 in the US Open Cup match against DC United . [8] Farfan scored his first goal on May 21 at the Chicago Fire goal: from outside the penalty area from a distance of 25 yards (22.8 meters) [9] . The match ended with the score 2: 1 in favor of the Philadelphia Union. After this match, Farfan was in the “Team of the Week at MLS” (MLS Team of Week 10) [10] .

After three seasons at the Philadelphia Union, Farfan was sold to the Mexican club Cruz Asul from the MX League [11] . He played one match for the club, where he scored one goal against Pachuki .

On February 10, 2015, Farfan joined DCC United [12] .

January 20, 2016 Farfan moved to the Seattle Sounders [13] .

On February 24, 2017, Farfan announced his retirement [14] .
