Tingeyjarsveit ( Isl. Þingeyjarsveit ) - a community in the north of Iceland . It is part of the Nordyurland-Estra region .

The community area is 5988 km². The population of the community as of January 1, 2015 is 966 people [1] . The largest settlement is the village of Loygar, whose population according to 2014 numbers totaled 111 people.
In the community there is a birch forest Vaglascoogur - one of the largest forests of the island.
