Germany at Eurovision 1958

Germany took part in Eurovision 1958 , held in Hilversum , the Netherlands . She was represented at the competition by Margot Hielscher with the song “Für zwei Groschen Musik”. This year the country ranked only seventh, receiving 5 points (2 from France , 1 point from Belgium , Sweden and Austria ). The country gave only 1 point to the winner , 4 points from Italy , 5 points from Belgium . Claudia Doren was the commentator for the competition from Germany this year, Wolf Mittler was the herald.
