Chredavatn [3] [4] ( Ice Hreðavatn ) is a lake in the west of Iceland . Located in the valley in the territory of the Borgarbigd community , near the Road between the town of Borgarnes and the plateau. The height above sea level is 56 m. The surface area is 1.14 km² [1] [2] .
In total, three watercourses flow into the lake: two streams from the north, and from the south-west the River Kidud ( island Kiri ) connecting the neighboring lake Selvatn ( island Selvatn ) and Hredavatn. From the north-eastern side of the lake flows the channel Hreinau ( isl. Hrauná ), which flows into the River [3] [2] flowing a kilometer east of the river .
