Natari Naughton ( born Naturi Naughton , born May 20, 1984 [3] ) is an American singer, rapper and actress. She became famous as a member of the 3LW female trio from 1999 to 2002, and in 2009 she made her debut on the big screen with roles in the films “ Glory ” and “ Notorius ”. In 2014, Nauton began acting on Starz 's Power in the City at Night .

Biography
Nawton was born and raised in East Orange, New Jersey, and sang in a church choir as a child [4] . In 1999, at the age of fifteen, Nauton, together with Adrienne Beylon and Keely Williams, formed the 3LW group. Their debut album 3LW went platinum, and the singles “ No More (Baby I'ma Do Right) ”, “ Playas Gon 'Play ” and “ I Do (Wanna Get Close to You) ” were successful on the charts. Nauton left the group in the summer of 2002 due to a conflict with other members [5] .
After leaving the group, Nauton concentrated on her acting career. From 2005 to 2008, she performed in the Broadway musical Hairspray . She then played Lil 'Kim in the biographical film Notorius . In 2009, she played a leading role in the musical “ Glory, ” which, despite negative reviews from critics, became a hit at the box office [6] . Since then, she moved to television, where she had regular roles in the short-lived TV series Playboy Club and Client List . In 2014, she began to play the main female role in the Starz series " Power in the Night City " [7] .
Netari has a daughter (born July 19, 2017) from her boyfriend Ben [8] .
