Stacy Galina ( born Stacy Galina , born September 24, 1966) is an American television actress. Galina is known for her role as Kate Whittaker, daughter of Claudia Summer Whitaker ( Kathleen Noon ), in the CBS prime time soap opera Quiet Quay , where she starred from 1990 to 1993. Earlier in the series, she played Greg’s deceased daughter, Mary Francis Sumner. [2] Galina also appeared in the 1997 mini-series Quiet Quay: Returning to a Dead End.

Galina was born in Baltimore, Maryland, and in the 1980s she studied ballet in New York professionally before retraining as an actress. [2] After completing Silent Pier, Galina starred in the sitcoms Daddy's Daughters ( CBS , 1994), Lost on Earth ( USA Network , 1997), Alright Already ( The WB , 1997-1998) and Hidden Hills ( NBC , 2001-2002 ), they were all closed after one season. She also appeared in Friends , For What I Love You , Providence , Will and Grace , and Boston Lawyers . Outside of television, Galina played a lead role in the horror film Children of the Corn 5: Fields of Fear (1998) [3] .
