List of Ministers of Economic Development of the Italian Republic

The list includes ministers of industry and trade (Ministri dell'Industria e del Commercio) from 1946 to 1966, ministers of industry, trade and craft (Ministri dell'Industria, Commercio e Artigianato) from 1966 to 2001, ministers of production (Ministri delle Attività Produttive) from 2001 to 2006 and Ministers of Economic Development (Ministri dello Sviluppo Economico) from 2006. Since 2008, the Ministry has also absorbed the Ministry of Communications ( Ministero delle Comunicazioni ) and the Ministry of Foreign Trade ( Ministero del Commercio Internazionale ).
