In 1985, Slim Harpo was inducted into the Blues Hall of Fame .
In addition, the song “ Rainin 'in My Heart ” performed by Slim Harpo is included in the list of 500 Songs That Shaped Rock and Roll compiled by the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame [2] .
