Juncus concinnus (lat.) Is a species of monocotyledonous plants of the genus Sitnik ( Juncus ) of the family Sitnikovye ( Juncaceae ). First described by British botanist David Don in 1825 [2] [3] .

Distribution and habitat
Known from China ( Yunnan , Sichuan and the Tibet Autonomous Region ), Bhutan , India (including Sikkim and the historical region of Kashmir ) and Nepal [4] . A type specimen was assembled in Yunnan [3] .
It grows in forests on slopes, in wet meadows, in ravines [4] .
Botanical Description
Hemicryptophyte [5] . Perennial plant 16–45 cm high [4] .
Chestnut-colored rhizome [4] .
The stem is cylindrical, with a diameter of up to 1 mm [4] .
Leaves basal (1-2 per plant) or stem (1-3), linear [4] .
The inflorescence is terminal, carries 3-14 flowers. The flowers are yellowish white; petals from lanceolate to oblong [4] .
The fruit is a box from a triangular to ovoid shape. Seeds from egg-shaped to oblong, chestnut-colored, have appendages [4] .
It blooms in July and August, bears fruit in August and September [4] .
