Biography

He received a law degree, in 1965 he was elected mayor of the city of Karpantras in the department of Vaucluse , he held this position until his death.

Member of the French National Assembly (1978-1986) from the Republican Party / Union for French Democracy bloc; since 1986 - member of the French Senate. He was a member of the legislative committee.

In 1979-1981 - Minister of Commerce and Crafts of France.
