Urban area (Moscow)

The urban area is the central district of the city of Moscow from 1917 to 1922 . It covered the territory of the City, three of Tver, three of Myasnitsky, two of Arbat, two of Sretensky and two of Yauz commissariat .

The population is about 365 thousand people. In the area there were: the Kremlin, the Moscow City Council, the City Council, the City Administration, the Central Telegraph and other important infrastructure facilities. The 192nd ( Spassky barracks ), 251st and 56th ( Pokrovsky barracks ) infantry reserve regiments are stationed. 175 trade and service enterprises [1] .

It was abolished in 1922 [1] .
