Biography
Born on February 15, 1922 in Smlednik (near the Slovenian city of Kranj ). Worked before the war carpenter. Member of the Union of Communist Youth of Yugoslavia since 1938. On the front of the People's Liberation War since 1941.
He served in the Zalozhsky partisan detachment and the Molnish partisan company, served as a machine gunner in the company. Fought in the forefront. From November 1941 a soldier of the 2nd Styrian Battalion. In January, he was transferred from the infantry to the Intelligence and Security Service formed by the Communist Party of Slovenia. From August 1942, again in the partisan movement, the commander of the Security Company of the General Staff of NOAJ in Slovenia and the commander of the 1st battalion of the Intelligence and Security Service.
In 1943, Albin was for some time the personal bodyguard of Edward Kardel and Franz Leskoszek , protecting them during his stay in Croatia. From September 1943 - commander of the 1st battalion of the Intelligence and Security Service in the Ljubljana region, since March 1944 - Deputy Commander of the 1st Division of the Intelligence and Security Service.
April 1, 1944 died in battles against German soldiers and Slovenian collaborators near the town of Metnay.
December 20, 1951 by the decree of Josip Broz Tito Albin Grazer was posthumously awarded the title of the National Hero of Yugoslavia.
