History

Turning towards the bridge
He enters the spring wilderness,
Where are the pines leaning towards the graveyard
They stand like crowds of souls.
There is a pilot at the edge of the alley
Resting in a heap of ribbons
And the dead propeller whitening
Crowned by his monument.
"Passerby"
( Nikolai Zabolotsky ,
