Boris Nazarovich Bobkov ( May 14, 1911 , Smolensk Province - February 14, 1989 , Moscow ) - Soviet naval leader, Rear Admiral (1958), Chief of Intelligence of the Navy of the USSR (1953-1965).

Biography
Born on May 14, 1911 in the village of Babayevo, Yukhnovsky district, Smolensk province (now the Yukhnovsky district of the Kaluga region ) in a poor peasant family. In 1929 he graduated from the Yukhnovsky school.
In the service in the Navy since 1933. He graduated from the Naval School named after MV Frunze (1933-1937) , the School for the Training of Commanders of the Navy Headquarters Service (1943), and the academic courses of officers at the Naval Academy named after KE Voroshilov (1948-1949) .
He served as a military commissar of the submarine Shch-306 (1937-1939), military commissar of the submarine S-7 (1939), military commissar of the submarine division (1939-1940), military commissar of the submarine brigade (1940-1941) of the Baltic Fleet . Member of the war with Finland .
During World War II: military commissar of the reconnaissance department of the headquarters of the Baltic Fleet (09.1941-10.1942), at the disposal of the commander of the Baltic fleet (10.1942-01.1943), deputy head (11.1943-07.1944) and chief (07.1944-12.1945) of the reconnaissance department of the Amur flotilla headquarters.
After the Great Patriotic War: Chief of the Intelligence Division of the Staff of the Pacific Fleet (12.1945-01.1947), Chief of the Intelligence Division of the Staff of the 5th Navy (01.1947-10.1948), Deputy Head of the Division (01.-03.1950), Head of the 1st Direction (03.1950-09.1952 ), Head of the 3rd Directorate (09.1952-05.1953) of the 2nd Main Directorate of the Marine General Staff, Head of the 2nd Division of the Main Naval Staff - Chief of Naval Intelligence (05.1953-09.1956), Chief of Naval Intelligence of the General Staff of the Navy (09.1956-12.1960) , Chief of the Naval Intelligence (12.1960-07.1965), at the disposal of the Main Intelligence Agency Announcements of the General Staff of the Armed Forces (07.1965-10.1968).
In October 1968, was transferred to the reserve.
He died in Moscow on February 14, 1989 .
