Biography
In 1965 he graduated from the faculty of monumental and decorative art with a degree in artist-architect from the Moscow Higher Art and Industrial School (formerly Stroganovsky) . In 1965-1968 he worked as an architect in the USSR State Standard.
In 1968-1970 he was a production designer at the Soyuzmultfilm movie studio . In 1970, he moved to the newly formed Studio “Ekran” Creative Association , where he worked until the 1990s as an artist and director of an animation studio.
Mainly engaged in puppet animation.
Creator of a series of films based on the tales of Donald Bisset about the adventures of the Girl and the Dragon. He participated in the production of the first Soviet puppet television series "The Adventures of Dunno", "The Wizard of the Emerald City" and "Dunno in the Solar City".
In the early 1990s, he became interested in films on the themes of national Slavic holidays [1] .
He died on March 26, 2015 in Moscow at the 75th year of his life [2] [3] . The ashes are buried at Danilovsky cemetery , site 32.
