Biography
In 2000 she graduated from St. Ursula Gymnasium, and then in Dusseldorf . In 2006, she took the third place at the Bayreuth Festival and received a € 3,000 scholarship from the Richard Wagner Association [3] .
In January 2012, she made her debut in Wagner 's The Twilight of the Gods on the stage of the Metropolitan Opera in New York [1] .
In April 2014, Radner performed the role of Anna in Berlioz ’s opera “ The Trojans ” [4] , and in May, Erda in the opera “The Rhine Gold ” at the [5] . She played this role from 2010 until her death [5] .
Died March 24, 2015 in the crash of an Airbus A320-211 aircraft with her husband Sasha Schenk and son Felix [2] [6] . On this flight, Maria Radner and her colleague, opera singer Oleg Bryzhak , were returning home from Barcelona after performing in the opera by Richard Wagner " Siegfried " in the Liceu Theater [7] .
