List of episodes of the American television series " Fear the Walking Dead ." The project is a spin-off and prequel [1] of the series The Walking Dead , based on the comic book series of the same name . The series is not related to the events of the comic, but it takes place in the same fictional universe, but not in Atlanta , but in Los Angeles in the early days of the epidemic. The plot focuses on the family of a single mother and a career consultant Madison Clark ( Kim Dickens ) and divorced teacher Travis Manawa ( Cliff Curtis ), who are together trying to survive in the zombie apocalypse .

| Nick Clark (19-year-old drug addict) wakes up on the top floor of a drug den . Going down, he finds a dead guy with a throat torn out, next to which lies another torn body. Then Nick notices his girlfriend Gloria, who has turned into a bloodthirsty monster, bending over a corpse. Frightened, Nick runs out into the street - this is a remote area of Los Angeles . Running through the empty streets, he is hit by a car and loses consciousness; Nick is taken to the hospital. At the hospital, the doctor explains to parents Nick Madison and Travis that his statements are the result of hallucinations under the influence of heroin, but Travis believes Nick and goes to this stash. The next day, all schools close earlier than usual, due to the fact that very few children came to them - there are rumors about an epidemic in the city. At this time, the Internet begins to post videos with strangely behaving people attacking others. Nick escapes from the hospital, meets his dealer Calvin in the cafeteria, and asks him about the quality of the goods - perhaps what he saw was caused by the fact that he sold Calvin. In a deserted place, Calvin is trying to kill Nick, believing that he will surrender him, but in a fight Nick shoots Calvin in the chest. Nick finds his parents and tells them that he did something bad. Arriving at the place, they do not find the corpse, instead, they are attacked by Calvin zombies. | Nick, Madison and Travis decide to leave the city for the desert for safety, and try to gather the whole family, including Alicia, Lisa and Chris. Alicia discovers that Matt is sick. When Travis arrives, he finds a bite on Matt's body, and they both tell Alicia to leave. The group returns to Madison's house to gather supplies. Nick suffers from drug withdrawal, and Madison goes to school to get oxycodone . There she meets schoolboy Tobias. They encounter the headmaster of Artie's school, who has become a zombie, and Madison has to kill him; she takes Tobias home. Travis is trying to find his son from his first marriage - Chris. Chris’s bus is stuck in traffic due to gunfire and spontaneous protests against police actions. Chris joins the protesters and shoots the events on camera. Travis and his ex-wife Lisa find Chris in the crowd. The uprising is growing, the police are killing another zombie. The Manawa family manages to hide in the house of the Salazar family, holding a hairdresser and a house with her. Travis tells Madison that she should take the children and go to the desert without him. Alicia sees a zombie neighbor, Dawson, attacking other neighbors across from their house, but Madison does not allow her to intervene. | The crowd sets fire to the wall of Salazarov’s house, and the group has to run to Travis’s car, but Griselda is injured by fallen scaffolding. The group travels to the nearest hospital, but there was a hot spot due to the confrontation between zombies and police, and the group goes to Madison’s house. In the city, the light disappears and the telephone connection is disconnected. Madison, Nick and Alicia go to the neighbors' house for a shotgun and ammunition. At this time, a shepherd runs into their house, and a walker comes after her. Travis arrives, he is attacked by a zombie Dawson, he is killed by Daniel. Three families decide to stay together overnight to leave in the morning. Lisa examines Griselda’s injured leg, but says she needs a doctor, otherwise she will die. Ophelia tells Daniel that they need to escape with Travis, but Daniel insists that they will survive themselves. | A few days later. The National Guard fenced the area and turned it into a security zone, its residents are trying to live a normal life. Madison is under stress due to the many people in the house and Travis, who plays the role of a coherent between civilian and military. Chris is filming how someone zooms in from outside the safe zone, and shows it to Travis and Madison. Travis persuades Doug to accept psychological help. Lisa helps her neighbors like a medic. Nick steals morphine from Hector lying under a dropper. Ophelia kisses Adams - one of the soldiers - trying to use him to get medicine for Griselda. Travis learns from the military that Doug was hospitalized due to problems with his head, and talks about the signal from the fence. Madison manages to exchange a flashlight signal with someone outside the zone. She makes her way over the fence and finds evidence that the military killed civilians, including the uninfected, and tells Daniel about it. Daniel tells Madison about his experience in El Salvador, where the patient was detained under the pretext of hospitalization, and instead was killed. Dr. Exner discovers that, technically, Lisa is not a nurse. The soldiers take Griselda and Nick to the hospital, despite the fact that Nick's family is against. Lisa agrees to help the medical team, although she does not want to part with her son. Travis lonely on the roof and notices a signal; then shots are heard, the signal disappears. | ||||||

| Lisa helps Dr. Exner with patients in the hospital. Chris is disappointed that his mother voluntarily left. Madison discovers that Daniel is holding Adams in the basement of a neighboring house in order to obtain information from him. In a military prison, Strand bribes a guard so that Nick, suffering from a fever, is not taken away. Strand agrees with Nick to escape. Alicia and Chris get drunk and smash the abandoned house of a wealthy family. Travis convinces Moyers to take him to the hospital to check on the condition of his friends. On the road, Moyers urges Travis to kill the zombies, but he is not able to pull the trigger. The squad stops to help another squad in a house overrun by zombies, but loses most of the fighters, including Moyers. Several survivors flee and land Travis near the safe zone. Daniel tortures Adams and learns from him what the word “Cobalt” means, often mentioned in radio conversations: the next morning, all civilians should be killed, and all military should leave the city. In the hospital, Griselda dies from septic shock, Lisa shoots her in the head to prevent "conversion" to zombies. | The group is evacuated from the fenced area and moves to the headquarters of the National Guard to pick up Lisa, Griselda and Nika there. Adams agrees to be their guide, but then begs Travis to let him go. The group enters the base while Daniel distracts the guards, bringing walkers from the stadium. Travis, Madison, Daniel and Ophelia go inside, leaving Alicia and Chris near the cars. Inside, Strand and Nick begin to implement the escape plan. Meanwhile, walkers break through the perimeter and begin to flood the base. Dr. Exner understands that they will not be able to evacuate everyone, and disconnects all patients. Travis's group finds a prison and releases the detainees, then they manage to find Nick with Strand and Lisa. Dr. Exner tells them a safe exit, but she remains. Returning to the cars, they meet Adams, who wants revenge and shoots Ophelia in the arm, Travis beats Adams and leaves him to die. Strand brings the group to his home on the coast. There, Strand tells Nick that he has an Abigail yacht on which he is going to escape. On the shore, Lisa shows Madison that she was bitten during the escape, and convinces Madison and Travis to shoot her. | ||||||

| The group is being evacuated to the Abigail yacht, while the military is bombing Los Angeles. At sea, a yacht swims past a boat full of fleeing people, but Strand refuses to pick them up. Strand tells the group that they are heading to San Diego. Alicia listens to the radio, on which many distress signals are heard; she starts a conversation with Jack, who is on a fishing boat. Travis notes that Chris and Daniel were able to find a common language. Madison notices that Strand is awake, and Daniel says his motives are obscure. Having sailed far enough into the sea, they bury Lisa's body in water. Chris reacts sharply and accuses Travis of her death. Alicia learns from Jack that their boat is leaking, he asks for help. Strand refuses to help and threatens to throw overboard anyone who does not obey him. When the group prepares for dinner, Chris jumps overboard, and Nick hurries to help him. In the water there are zombies with a boat overturned nearby, the sides of which were shot. Nick manages to find the ship's log. The teens are returning to the boat, but Strand says someone else is quickly approaching them - probably with hostile intentions. | ||||||

| In order to hide from pursuers, the yacht moors at the nearest island. Strand, Daniel and Ophelia remain on the boat, the rest go ashore and find a house on the shore. Homeowner George says all major cities on the coast, including San Diego, have been burned down by the military. The next morning, Travis and his family help George with daily tasks - to kill the walkers, who were beaten by the sea, to build a fence. George Melissa's wife secretly asks Madison to pick up her children when they leave the island. Meanwhile, Daniel finds a weapon and a map on Strand’s yacht that leads to Strand’s real goal - Mexico . Strand makes a secret call to someone. In search of drugs, Nick finds something in the house and tells his parents about his hunch that George was going to poison his entire family as an act of suicide. Travis and Madison are trying to take away the two youngest children, but one of them manages to eat poison and, becoming a zombie, kills his mother. The group tries to leave with another child, but they are stopped by the eldest son, in the end they have to leave these children on the island. | ||||||

| The episode begins with how several people, including Alex and Jake, survive on a liferaft. At night, the engine cooling system breaks down on the yacht, Travis is repairing. Alicia uses binoculars to find a plane crash site on the shore; Nick, Alicia, Chris and Daniel land on the beach in search of supplies and suitable items. Chris finds a survivor who is seriously injured, and realizing that he can no longer be pulled out, he is forced to kill him. In the meantime, Madison is asking Strand about their destination - he said this is a safe house in Baja California . A group on the shore is attacked by a crowd of walking people, but they manage to escape, and with them two people who survived on a raft from an airplane - Alex and Jake. Nick, drenched in blood, discovers that this disguises him in front of the walkers. | Nick swims to the shore, looking for a Strand-Louis contact. A boat with three people sailed to the yacht: two guys and a pregnant girl. As it turned out, these were people who contacted Alicia on the radio - one of them was Jack. Alicia recognizes him by his voice and calls his name, and then they capture the passengers of the yacht. Strand escapes on a liferaft, but is injured. Flashbacks tell the story of Strand and the reason he needs to return to Mexico. Nick meets Louis, with whom he floats to the yacht. The leader of the "pirates" - Connor arrives on the yacht, takes away Alicia and Travis, leaving some of his people in order to move the yacht, which Travis managed to start. In a skirmish, Madison falls under the pressure of a walker, and Chris freezes, unable to help his stepmother, and Alicia has to come to the rescue. The group arrives at the place where they are met by the mother of Louis - Celia. She says that they can stay in the house, but should leave the weapon outside. Strand discovers that Thomas Abigail has been bitten and dies. Alicia tells Chris that she saw what he did - about the fact that he did not save Madison. Nick and Celia became friends, and she tells him her view of death. Madison discusses with Travis that something is wrong with Chris, and they argue. | Celia became embittered that Thomas was shot in the head, and demands that Strand and the group leave. Chris runs into the field and Travis tries to catch up with him. Daniel begins to see nightmares and behaves strangely. Nick brings the zombie Louis to Celia, and thanks to him she allows the group to stay, but Strand has to leave. Madison is talking with Nick, she is offended by his feelings for Celia. When Daniel attacks one of the guards, Celia puts him bound in the basement. Nick goes to look for the missing Travis and Chris, but when he finds them, Travis says that he and Chris will not return, because Chris needs help. And asks Madison to say that he did not find them. Celia leads Madison into the basement to show her the dead, but Madison locks her inside. In visions, the wife and those whom he killed come to Daniel. He manages to stun one of the servants and escape. Then he goes to where the zombies are kept and sets fire to everything. Strand returns to help people out of the fire. Nick comes back and tells Madison that he could not find Travis, but he will not go further with the group, because crazy Celia was right - they destroy everything in their path, and therefore he does not want to be part of them anymore. | ||||||

| Left alone, Nick sets off north. On a journey, he is constantly in trouble, the owners returned to the house where he spent the night and, without understanding, drove him away, leaving him without water, then he stumbled upon a group of armed looters and barely took his legs, then he was bitten by the leg of a feral dog and in the end surrounded by a small herd of walking. But perseverance allows Nick to survive. Using an old trick, Nick, smeared with the blood of a walking man, joins the herd and goes out onto the road. They don’t recognize the stranger, but Nick begins to hallucinate, periodically recalling his past, where Gloria was, where Madison informed him of her father’s death, he suddenly begins to think that the dead, among whom he is walking, are talking to him, he even sees Gloria among them. Soon the herd stumbles upon the same looters who had decided to have fun by shooting at the dead, but recognizing Nick alive among them, they are lost and a hitch costs their lives. But soon Nick’s wound does not give him the opportunity to continue to move on and he lags behind the herd. Three armed people notice this. | Madison, Alicia, Ophelia and Strand return to the coast after a two-day fruitless search for Travis and discover that the yacht has disappeared. They drive north, leaving a message for Travis ashore, and take refuge in an empty hotel. Alicia and Ophelia set off to search the rooms, and Madison and Strand get drunk in a bar in which they are surrounded by walkers. Luciana leads Nick as a porter to a supermarket in another district of the city where she plans to exchange drugs for water. Nick steals food and nearly loses his hand for theft. | ||||||

| Chris and Travis meet three Americans. Chris is not averse to joining them, Travis wants to find refuge only for himself and his son. The conflict ends with the farmer injuring one of the Americans, James, and Chris killing the farmer. Alicia understands that the speed of cleaning the rooms from the dead is very low and offers to lure them to the pier and drown them in the ocean. The plan works, the hotel is cleared of walking. Nick offers the community leader pharmacist Alejandro, who, according to him, managed to survive after a bite, mix oxycodone with milk powder , intended for exchange for water and food. The deception remains unsolved and grateful Alejandro provides Nick with housing in their community. In the evening, Luciana comes to him, their meeting ends with a kiss. | ||||||

Madison meets a woman named Naomi and invites her to her community. At night, a convoy of trucks drives up to the stadium. Madison goes outside and learns from a man named Mel that their community has become the next goal of the Vultures group, and Charlie is a spy whose goal was to collect information about the community’s life. Chalk threatens and demands to give them all the supplies. Madison refuses and leaves. Continuation of the events of the previous series: Luciana finds the flag with the number "51" in the Altea armored car, after which Alicia orders them to be taken to where Altea found the flag. | ||||||

At the stadium, Madison tells Mel that she is ready to build a community together, but Mel is mocking her idea. Nick suggests Madison head further north to find seeds and fertilizers, instead of moving to a new location. In the present: the group tells Altea that they were forced to leave the stadium. Althea takes them to the place where they dig up the weapons removed from the stadium. John recognizes the backpack that belonged to Laura. | In the past: John finds Naomi unconscious in a river, next to his hut. John brings her inside, treats the wound and gives her a rest. Since she refuses to give her name, John calls her Laura. At night, Naomi tells John that she has lost a child. The next day, John teaches Naomi to fish, and they play Scrabble. | In the past: Madison and Strand join Naomi on a trip to the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) shelter, which may contain seeds and fertilizers. They stop overnight at the motel, but when Madison wakes up in the morning, she discovers that Naomi is missing. Naomi goes to "FEMA", which is filled with infected ones, and finds a set of keys marked "JIC". Then she is surrounded by the infected, from whom she escapes on top of the scaffolding. Madison and Strand come and help her out. Naomi explains that she and her daughter, Rose, lived here. When Rose caught pneumonia, she went off to look for antibiotics. But when she returned three days later, she discovered that her daughter had died, converted, and infected everyone else. Naomi shows Madison and Strand a truck with intact reserves. They return to the stadium with rich booty, after which the Vultures decide to leave the parking lot. Currently: Alicia, Strand, and Luciana are facing Mel and his people at the venue. Morgan, John and Althea are also present. At that time, while the two groups are holding each other on the flies, an SUV drives up, Naomi leaves it. In flashback: Charlie arrives at the stadium and asks Madison if she can help Melvin, who was injured in a car accident. Charlie claims that he and Mel left the Vultures after a fight with Ennis. The rescued Mel tells Madison that Ennis plans to destroy the stadium. It turns out that the numbers written on white matter indicated the number of infected, concentrated by the "Vultures" in confined spaces. Madison understands that Mel has a bad influence on the morale of community members. She gives him a car with supplies and makes him leave. Alicia and Nick, without the knowledge of their mother, leave the stadium to find and return Mel. After returning Alicia, Nick and Mel, Ennis and Vultures arrive at the stadium parking lot. They release more than a thousand infected from vans. At present: Naomi, who was in charge of the community’s infirmary, hopes to help John with the help of medicines that should have been preserved after the Vultures attack. | In the past: two weeks after the destruction of the Gonzalez dam, Madison meets Althea, whom she is trying to rob, but to no avail. Madison, after all, tells her story on camera. Althea gives Madison some food, a radio and a map, allowing her to find her children. Kindness El inspires Madison to create a stadium community. Currently: Naomi and Morgan are struggling to get medicine to save John Dory's life, while Althea and Charlie are defending themselves from the group of Alicia, who also arrived at the stadium. In the heat of battle, Alicia finds out that Althea met her mother and interviewed her. Morgan's subsequent intervention convinces Alicia to stop taking revenge on Charlie and Naomi. At night, Alicia's group finishes telling their story about the stadium's downfall. It turns out that most members of the community died trying to escape from the stadium, surrounded by a herd of walking people. Then Madison brought the infected to the stadium and locked the gates from the inside to give her children Strand and Luciana a chance to survive. Madison set fire to the herd in the stadium, sacrificing herself in an attempt to save others. John Dory survives with the drugs found at the stadium, and Naomi admits to her that her real name is June. Finding Martha, weakened by the wound, he takes her to the others. Meanwhile, his friends are suffering from poisoning - Marta visited there and poisoned her drinking water with antifreeze . Upon learning this, Morgan realizes that Martha is hopeless in her thirst for revenge. He dooms her to death, handcuffed to a car, and he sets off to save his companions. He manages to find a van with beer - alcohol neutralizes antifreeze. In the end, everyone survives. Morgan is postponing his return to Alexandria and inviting his friends to establish a new community on the site of an old factory to help everyone who needs it. | ||||||
