Antonino Borzi ( Italian: Antonino Borzì , 1852 - 1921 ) is an Italian botanist and mycologist who worked in Messina and Palermo.

Biography
Born August 20, 1852 in Castroreal (province of Messina ) in the family of Pietro Borji and Dorothea Lucifero. He received his primary education in Messina , after which in 1869 he went to the Royal Forest Institute in Vallombroz against the wishes of his father, where he studied under the guidance of Professor Federico Delpino .
Since 1879, Borji taught at the University of Messina with the rank of extraordinary professor of botany. From 1886 to 1892 he was a full professor.
In 1883, Antonino Borji became director of the Botanical Garden of the University of Messina. In 1892, after the death of Agostino Todaro , he replaced him as professor of botany at the University of Palermo and director of the botanical garden under him.
In 1907, Uppsala University awarded Bordey an honorary doctorate.
Antonino Borji died in Lucca on August 24, 1921 .
