History
The company was founded in 1952 by the professor of the University of Naples, Luigi Pascale (Luigi Pascale) and his brother Paolo. The manufactured aircraft were used mainly by flying clubs and private individuals.
In 1970, a new production complex was opened in the city of Casoria , Naples province ( Campania region, Italy ). The plant produced parts for McDonnell Douglas MD-80 and Boeing 747 aircraft .
In July 1981, Partenavia entered Aeritalia Corporation.
In 1986, Luigi Pascal and his other brother Giovanni founded Costruzioni Aeronautiche Tecnam .
In 1992, about 50 people worked.
In 1993, Aeritalia sold Partenavia to Aercosmos SpA in Milan [1] .
In 1996, Partenavia was declared insolvent.
In 1998, acquired the rights to the Partenavia trademark.
