Geography
The Karataly-Ayat River flows through the village. Nearest town: Rodniki village. The distance to the district center of Kartaly is 8.5 kilometers.
History
The village grew up on the site of a farm, where the artel them. Stepan Razin (hence the name). In 1930, a collective farm of the same name was organized on its basis.
