The boxing tournament at the XI Pan American Games was held in the Cuban capital Havana from August 2 to 18, 1991. Based on the results of the competition, the selection was made for the 1992 Summer Olympic Games in Barcelona - athletes who took first and second places received an Olympic license. The most successful were the boxers from Cuba, who won in all weight categories except welterweight.
