Sariyer ( Turkish : Sarıyer SK ) is a Turkish football club from Istanbul's Sariyer district, currently playing in the Second League , the third highest level in the Turkish football league system. The team spends home games at the Yusuf Zia Onish Stadium , which seats about 10,000 spectators.

The history of Saryer dates back to 1940, since 1963 the club played in the Second League , while the second in the hierarchy of Turkish football leagues. The period from 1969 to 1971, “Sariyer” played in the Third League. And in the 1982/83 season, the club will make its debut in the Turkish football elite, where it will spend the next 12 years until it takes the last (16th) place in the 1993/94 championship and flies out to the Second League. During this period, “Sariyer” played the role of the middle peasant in the First League, whose best achievements were 4th place in the championships 1985/86 , 1988/89 and 1990/91 . In the 1991/92 season, “Sariyer” became the winner of the Balkan Cup , in the final of which he was stronger than the Romanian “ Ocelul ” by the sum of two meetings (0-0 away and 1-0 after extra time at home).
In the 1996/97 season, “Sariyer” returned to the First League for another year, but taking 16th out of 18 places again turned out to be lower. And since 2005, the club has been playing in the Second League, which by that time had become the third highest level in the league system.
