Yitzhak Peretz ( Hebrew יצחק חיים פרץ ; born March 26, 1938 , Casablanca , Morocco) is an Israeli politician and religious figure, member of the Knesset, and a minister in a number of cabinets.

Biography
Born in Morocco, emigrated to Israel in 1950, studied in the yeshiva. Chief Rabbi of Raanana in 1962-1984.
Member of the Knesset from 1984 to 1992, when he resigned shortly after his election for the third time.
From 1984 to 1987, the Minister of the Interior of Israel, the Minister of Absorption in 1988-1992, in 1984 and 1987 - the Minister without a portfolio.
