Kampughat (mine)

Kampughat (mine) is a mine located in the Federal Democratic Republic of Nepal . It is one of the largest deposits of magnesium both in Nepal and in the world. This mine is located in the eastern part of the country in the Sagarmatha district. The estimated mine reserves are about 20 million tons of magnesium ore , which is 30% of the magnesium reserves in Nepal [1] .
