Akayev, Vakhit Khumidovich

Born in deportation on February 5, 1952 in the city of Lenger, Kazakh SSR. By nationality - a Chechen . In 1969 he graduated from school in the village of Sovetskoye, Sovetsky District, Chechen-Ingush Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic . In 1973 he graduated from the Physics and Mathematics Department of the Chechen-Ingush University with a degree in Mathematics . In 1972 he began working as a mathematics teacher. In 1975 he became the director of Hal-Keloevskaya secondary school.

Scientific activity

He graduated from graduate school at the Department of Philosophy of the Moscow State Pedagogical Institute named after V.I. Lenin . In 1981 he defended his thesis on philosophy "Special, singular and whole in understanding the truth." June 17, 1991 became the director of the Chechen-Ingush Research Institute of History , Philosophy and Sociology . In 1992, he became a corresponding member of the Academy of Sciences of the Chechen Republic. At Rostov State University, he defended his doctoral dissertation on the theme " Sufism in the context of Arab-Muslim philosophy ." In 2001, he became professor and head of the department of theory and practice of social work at Chechen University. He has published over 170 works, including monographs , brochures , and journalism . He is a member of the Public Chamber of the Chechen Republic.

Has two children.
