Nanai Literature History
The development of Nanai literature was greatly influenced by Russian teachers and scholars . So, for example, V. A. Samara stands out, which touched on social topics and sang the beauty of the native land. For the first time, the topic of love was also touched. Its successor was A. Passar, who was actively developing the genre of the song.
The work of G. G. Hodger belongs to a later period. At the literary competition of the VI World Festival of Youth and Students in Moscow, his story “My Familiar Beekeeper” was awarded a gold medal. The Amur Wide trilogy was awarded the State Prize of the RSFSR im. M. Gorky (1973).
Currently, the works of Russian classics and modern writers are being translated into Nanai.

Nanai tales reflect pagan beliefs and ways of life of the people. They are based on observation and thousand years of experience.
