Located in the village of Khingu, Nizhneudinsky district, Irkutsk region . The extreme northern station of the Irkutsk region of the Eastern Railway.
History
Opened in 1899. At the beginning of the XX century it was a class V station. Nearby was built a pond on the Mut River, the water from which was used to refuel steam locomotives and provide the village. Today it is used to provide residents with water and is a resting place for the population of the Nizhneudinsky district.
Infrastructure
Station of 5 tracks, 4 of which are electrified, the 5th is not electrified. It approaches a high platform onto which the military were previously unloaded, then was temporarily used by the Sibopora railway company. In 2008, the construction of a new station and the repair of platforms were completed at the station. The old station was demolished.
Only suburban trains stop at the station, previously passenger trains No. 659/660 Irkutsk - Tayshet and No. 357 Irkutsk- Abakan stopped.
