De Long Bay - a bay on the northwest coast of Jackson Island , divides it into two almost equal peninsulas . Named after the American naval officer and polar explorer George De Long [1] .

From the south, De Longa Bay is bounded by Bystrov Cape , named by the polar explorer from the Arctic Institute L.S. Govorukha in 1963 in honor of the outstanding Russian paleontologist A.P. Bystrov .
At the exit of the bay are the islands of Alexandra .
