History
In the XIX - early XX century, the village administratively belonged to the Krasnoborsk volost of the 2nd camp of the 2nd district of the Tikhvin district of the Novgorod province .
TIMOSHYNA (ASHCHINA) - the village of Gabordussky rural society, the number of yards - 13, the number of houses - 13, the number of inhabitants: 31 m. P., 44 w. P.;
Occupation of inhabitants - agriculture. River Ashchina. Chapel. (1910) [2]
According to the data of 1933, the village was called Timotino and was part of the Krasnoborsky Village Council of the Oyat District [3] .
According to the data of 1966, 1973 and 1990, the village of Timoshino was part of the Khmelezersky Village Council [4] [5] [6] .
In 1997, 10 people lived in the village of Timoshino, Tervenichesky Volost, in 2002 - 6 people (all Russians) [7] [8] .
In 2007, 5 people lived in the village of Timoshino of Alyokhovshchinsky SP , in 2010 - 5, in 2014 - 4 people [9] [10] [11] .
Geography
The village is located in the southeastern part of the region to the east of the 41K-016 highway ( Oyat - Plotichno station ).
The distance to the administrative center of the settlement is 33 km [11] .
The distance to the nearest railway station Lodeynoye Pole is 84 km [4] .
The Aschina River flows through the village.
