In the 2003 NHL draft, he was selected in round 1 as the 11th overall by the Philadelphia Flyers team.
The world champion among juniors of 2003 , the silver prize-winner of the youth world championship of 2004, the world champion among youth of 2005. Member of the 2006 World Cup , two- time Stanley Cup winner in the Los Angeles Kings .
In the " Philadelphia Phantoms " Calder Cup winner in 2005.
From 2005 to 2011, he played for the Philadelphia Flyers in the NHL . In the summer of 2010, he signed an 11-year contract for $ 58 million with the Flyers. [1]
In 2011, he was traded to Columbus Blue Jackets . In exchange, “Philadelphia” received striker Yakub Vorachek and the selection in the 2011 draft in the first and third round. [2]
In the middle of the 2011/2012 season , he was traded to Los Angeles Kings for defender Jack Johnson and peak in the first round of the draft of 2012 or 2013 [3] , where he still plays today.
