Arthurs Bērzi .š ( Latvian. Artūrs Bērziņš ; born June 12, 1988 , Ogre , Latvian SSR , USSR ) is a Latvian professional basketball player playing as a heavy forward . He plays for the basketball club Ventspils .

Content
Career
Arthurs began playing basketball in his hometown of Ogre . In 2008 he moved to Ventspils , becoming the champion of Latvia in the 2008/2009 season.
In 2013, he moved to the Riga WEF [1] . Before the start of the season 2014/2015 he was chosen as the team captain. This season, Berzins scored an average of 3.6 points and 2.7 rebounds in VTB United League matches.
In August 2015, Berzins became a player of Valmiera [2] . As part of the team, Arthurs became the champion of Latvia , and MVP of the final series was also recognized [3] .
In July 2017, Berzins returned to Ventspils by signing a 2-year contract [4] .
Latvian national team
In 2011, as part of the Latvian national team , he played at the European Championship in Lithuania [5] .
