Biography
In 1978 he graduated from Kuibyshev State University, Department of History;
In 1978 - 1979, an assistant to the Department of History of the CPSU of the Kuibyshev Polytechnic Institute. V.V. Kuibyshev;
In 1980 - 1983, the service in the ranks of the Soviet Army;
In 1984 - 1988, an instructor in the department of science and educational institutions of the Kuibyshev Regional Committee of the CPSU ;
In 1988 - 1990, the head of the Department of Social Sciences of the Kuibyshev Regional Institute for the Improvement of Teachers;
In 1990 - 1992, director of the Kuibyshev Regional Institute for Advanced Teachers;
In 2009 - 2014, rector of Samara State University ;
In 2008 - 2011, he was the secretary of the regional branch of the United Russia Party in the Samara Region, losing his post to Alexander Fetisov .
Rector's work
- Built the pool "Dolphin". According to the federal project “Let’s Give Universities of Russia 500 Pools”.
- On the “runway” near the university, he erected a monument to Lomonosov. According to the federal program dedicated to the 300th anniversary of Lomonosov, signed by V.V. Putin in 2006.
- At the end of 2013, in the botanical garden, SamSU promised to put a botanical greenhouse to the Mundial.
