Sports career
She came to gymnastics in 1938, enrolling in the University of Semmelweis, who graduated with a degree in physical education. She began her career in the sports society Budapest SE, in 1941 she moved to Postás SE, for which she spoke until the end of her gymnastic career in 1953.
She became the seven-time Hungarian champion in the team event (1943, 1944, 1946, 1949, 1951-53), but she was never able to win an individual medal. At the Summer Olympics in London (1948), she won silver in team competitions, replacing injured Agnes Keleti . She repeated her success the following year at the World University Games in the Italian Merano (1949).
At the end of her sports career, she worked as a trainer and judge in gymnastics. She was the head coach of the clubs: Honved Budapest (1960-71), Debreceni VSI (1972-73). In the years 1974-77. - Head coach of the Hungarian women's team.
She was married to the bronze medalist of the Olympics in London (1948) in the team competition Laszlo Baraniai .
