Season 2014/2015 SM League - 40th draw of the League , the highest professional hockey league in Finland . The regular season began on September 10, 2014 and ended on March 12, 2015 . The playoffs will be played in March-April 2015.

The six best teams of the regular season go directly to the quarterfinals, the teams that took places from 7th to 10th participate in the qualifying round for the remaining two places. SM-League is a closed tournament, so the last teams do not leave it.

Teams that take a higher place in the regular season receive the “home site advantage”. Two winners will receive the two remaining places in the playoffs.
