The fourth season of the fantasy drama series Game of Thrones , which premiered on HBO on April 6, 2014, and the final episode was released on June 15, 2014, consists of 10 episodes [1] and is based on the second half of George R. R. Martin’s novel A storm of swords ” [2] with elements from the novels“ Feast of the Vultures ”and“ Dance with the Dragons ” [3] .

| Royal Harbor hosts the Purple Wedding of Joffrey and Margery. Joffrey receives from the Lord of Tywin the Virian sword of the Widow Crying and cuts them a gift from Tyrion - an old book. | Dontos Hollard saves Sansa from the wrath of Cersei and delivers to Petir Bailish on a ship at the mouth of Chernovodnaya, but Petir orders the crossbowman to kill him. | In the Bay of Slave Traders, the Gray Worm secretly penetrates Mierin and raises a slave rebellion that allows Daenerys to take over the city. | In the Red Castle is the coronation of Tomman. Cersei and Tywin plan the wedding of the young king and Margaery Tyrell. Lord Tywin says that during the War of the Five Kings, the gold mines in the western lands have dried up, and the Lannisters have nothing to repay debts to the Braavos Iron Bank. Cersei promises his father to marry Loras, as the approach of the Tyrells to the crown will improve the financial situation. Brienne and her new squire Podrik begin their journey north, trying to get along with each other. Petyr Baelish and Sansa Stark arrive at Eagle's Nest. Lisa Arren, Aunt Sansa, longing for a speedy wedding with Petir, in a fit of feelings, says that it was she who ordered Petir to poison her first husband, John Arren, and in a letter Caitlin blamed the Lannisters. After, blinded by jealousy, she accuses Sansa of vicious communication with Lord Baelish. Daenerys discusses plans for the future and, contrary to the advice of Jorach, remains in the Bay of Slave Traders, receiving bleak news from Astapor and Junkai. John Snow and his brothers storm the house of Craster. Locke tries to steal Bran and take away with him, but Hodor, in which Bran takes control, breaks Locke's neck. Joyen convinces Bran not to meet John, as he will not allow him to continue on his way to the North. Bran, Joyen, Mira and Hodor continue their journey without meeting John, who, with the surviving brothers after the assault, burns down the house with those killed in battle. | Stannis and Davos arrive in Braavos and seek help from the representative of the Iron Bank, Tycho Nestoris. The banker does not want to give money, but after a fiery speech, Davos changes his mind. | In the dungeon of the Royal Harbor, Tyrion receives visitors who could serve as his defenders. Jaime admits that he is not so good anymore, and Bronn is bribed by Cersei and is not going to risk his life for Tyrion. | A squad of Tormund attacks Mole Town, killing everyone in its path, but Lilly and her child manage to hide, even though Igritt finds her. The Black Castle brothers realize that they are next. Theon Greyjoy, by order of Ramsey Snow, enters Row Kailin fortress occupied by the iron-born and persuades her defenders to surrender, promising them pardon and free passage to the house, but Ramsey breaks the promise and brutally executes everyone. For taking Rva Cailin Rousse, Bolton makes Ramsey his legitimate son and goes with him and Theon to Winterfell. In the Eagle's Nest, the Arren bearers interrogate Littlefinger about the death of Lisa Arren. When Sansa Stark is summoned as a witness, she manages to convince the interrogators that it was suicide. In Mierin, Sir Barristan receives a letter, once signed by Robert Baratheon, and realizes that Jorah Mormont spied on Daenerys in exchange for a pardon in Westeros. Jorah admits that he was a varis informant. Enraged Daenerys expels him. The dog with Arya arrives at the Blood Gate of the Arren Valley, but the death of Lisa Arren destroys his plans for a ransom. At King's Landing, Pitzel announces the start of a duel between Oberin Martell and Grigor "Mountain" Clegan. Oberin, skillfully wielding a spear, inflicts grief several serious wounds, as a result of which he turns out to be helplessly lying on the ground. Deciding that Horus has already been defeated, Oberin whirls carelessly over him and demands that before his death he repents of the murder of Elia Martell and tells who gave him such an order, however Horus knocks Oberin, who has lost his vigilance, and, admitting his guilt, crushes him skull, after which he falls unconscious. | Sentinels on the Wall and a squad of feral and tenns in its environs are preparing for battle. Lilly and her child manage to return to Black Castle, and Sam hides her in the cellar. The horn signal reports the arrival of the Mansa army - a forest is burning in the north. Alliser Thorne commands the archers at the top of the Wall, but is forced to go down to the castle when Tormund, Steer, Igritt and their comrades begin the assault from the south and break inward. From the north side, the wilds who came out of the forest and the king of giants Meg with a tamed mammoth are trying to break into the gate. Grenn and several sentinels protect the tunnel behind the gates from Mega breaking through and die. John Snow leaves the Wall defenses on Sorrowful Ed and kills Stear in a duel. Igritt is fatally wounded by Ollie and dies in John's arms. The Marines manage to defend the Black Castle and the Wall, but John does not consider the victory final: Mans has enough warriors to repeat the attack again and again. | King of the Wall Mans receives John Snow in his camp. The army of Stannis Baratheon appears, which defeats the army of the wild. Mansa is taken prisoner. Night Watch burns its fallen; John arranges a separate burning for Igritt. In King's Landing, Pitzel examines a Mountain lying unconscious, and Quibern promises Cersei to save Grigor, saying that "he will change." He strangles his former mistress with a golden chain, and then finds Tywin in need and kills his father with a crossbow. Tyrion and Varis leave Royal Harbor on a ship. In Mierin, Daenerys accepts a former slave who wants to return to his master, and a poor shepherd who brought the queen the remains of his daughter, burned alive by Drogon. Daenerys, realizing that dragons are too dangerous, puts Reyegal and Viserion on a chain in the catacombs under the city. Bran and his companions go out to the giant tree-trunk, which Bran saw in his visions, but they are attacked by the dead hiding in the snow, and Joyen Reed dies. Bran, Hodor and Mira are saved by a girl in a cloak of leaves - the Child of the Forest, who showers the dead with fire rain. They meet with a three-eyed raven - a deep old man, fused with the roots of the hardwood. In the Arren Valley, Brienne and Podrik encounter Dog and Arya. In the battle, Brienne seriously injures the Dog, but loses sight of Arya. The dog begs Arya to kill him, but Arya leaves him to die and leaves. In the port of Saltworks, the coin of Yaken Khgar and the words “valar morgulis” allow her to board the ship leaving for Braavos. | ||||||
