Lycopodium dendroideum (lat.) - A species of plaunoid plants of the genus Plown ( Lycopodium ) of the family Plaunaceae ( Lycopodiaceae ). First described by the French botanist Andre Michaud in 1803 [1] [2] .

Spread
It occurs in the USA (mainly in the northern states), Canada , Saint Pierre and Miquelon , Japan , on the Korean Peninsula , in Russia ( Siberia ) and Bhutan [3] .
It grows in dry forests and among shrubs [4] .
Botanical description
The stem is branched. Lateral branches are rounded, with a diameter of 0.5-0.8 cm [4] .
The leaves are sprawling, needle-shaped, pale green in color [4] .
The top of the plant is pointed [4] .
Strobiles are sessile, vertical, 1–7 per plant [4] .
The number of chromosomes is 2n = 68 [4] .
