Kasym Rakhbarovich Kasymov (also Kosim Kosimov , from January 2014 - Kosim Rohbar [1] ; born in October 3, 1964 , Leninabad , Tajik Soviet Socialist Republic ) is a political and state leader of Tajikistan .

Biography
In 1981, he graduated from the secondary school number 18 named after S. Aini in Leninabad, in 1986 - the agronomical faculty of the Tajik Agricultural Institute , after which he worked as an agricultural technician, agronomist-entomologist of the 40 Years of October collective farm in the Khojent district .
Since 1989, he has been working in the Komsomol (second secretary of the Komsomol district committee of the Khojent district, in 1992-1994 - chairman of the Youth Union of the Leninabad region ). From 1994 to 1996 - Chairman of the Khojent District.
In February 12, 1996-December 2006 - the chairman of the Leninabad (since February 2000 - Sughd) region, in that time - the representative of the president and the chairman of the Majlis of people's deputies of the Sughd region. In the same period, he was a people's deputy of the Majlisi Oli (1995-2000) from 122 Yavinsky okrug (a member of the Committee on Science, Education and Youth Policy), a member of the Supreme Assembly of the Republic of Tajikistan (from 2000-2005 - chairman of the committee on economics and communications, from April 2005 to December 2006 - First Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Assembly).
From December 6, 2006 to January 2008 - Chairman of the Sogdian Executive Committee of the People’s Democratic Party .
From 2008 to March 10, 2015 - Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Tajikistan. From March 10, 2015 he was appointed Chairman of the Committee for Local Development of Tajikistan under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan [2] .
He also held public positions: first deputy chairman of the Social Movement of National Unity and the revival of Tajikistan (1997–2004), chairman of the Boxing Federation (since 1996), chairman of the Association of Nature Lovers of Sughd Region.
