It is fenced by a stone fence on supporting pillars. Inside the fence According to the architectural details, the temple can be attributed to the style of "provincial classicism", characteristic of the 18th century.
According to the memoirs of the director of the Hermitage A. A. Vasilchikov, the temple was very damp and cool, which forced the owner of Corallov to build a Trinity church house for his wife and children in the estate.
In 1812, the estate and the temple were plundered by the French , but the buildings were not damaged.
In 1834, a venerable spring, the Thunder Well, appeared near the temple. According to legend, the spring opened after a lightning strike in the ground. The spring has survived to this day.
