The village is located on the Voblya River, almost at the mouth, where the Voblya flows into the Oka River. It is located 5-6 km from the village of Beloomut . Buses go through the village, there are three stopping points.

Previously, the village belonged to the Zaraisk district of the Ryazan province . The first mention of the village of Ivnyagi dates back to the 19th century. The traditional confession of the villagers is Orthodox Christianity .
