The village has 36 houses.
It is located 1 kilometer from the Moscow- Ryazan railway stopping point of the 142 kilometer Moscow railway .
Near the village is a small lake formed by a dammed river.
There are no shops in the village, once a week a car shop arrives.
70-80% of the villagers live in it all year round. By religion - mostly Orthodox. The nearest church is in Podlesnaya Sloboda (almost 4 km from the village).
