Alpatyevo is a village in the urban district of Lukhovitsy in the Moscow Region , a railway station in the Ryazan direction of the Moscow Railway .

Until 2006, the village belonged to the Alpatyevsky rural district of the Lukhovitsky district and was its center. There are several ski lifts in the village’s residential area - this is the work of enthusiasts, lovers of skiing, from the city of Ryazan.

The village was previously owned by the Transfiguration Monastery . Named according to legends in honor of Evpatiy Kolovrat . However, there is a version that the name was given to the village by a craft for the manufacture of wooden shovels for baking bread. The village is described in the works of the poet Semyon Mikhailovich Ventsimerov .

In the center of the village, upon reaching the high bank of the Oka River, a burial hill rises. According to legend, during the raid of the Mongol-Tatars, a battle occurred, and the fallen soldiers were buried in a single mass grave, and a hill was poured on top. Among the native inhabitants of Alpatiev, this hill has long been known as the Town.

In the village of Alpatievo, a stone church of the Kazan Icon of the Mother of God, built in 1872, has been preserved. In 2012, the church of the Kazan Icon of the Mother of God, after overhaul, again opened the door for parishioners.

In the center of the village there is a memorial to the villagers who died during the Great Patriotic War .

At the entrance to the village is the hotel complex "Alpatievo", cafes, shops. On the slope of the Oka River there is a ski slope.

Alpatievo is the birthplace of the Hero of the Soviet Union, pilot Konstantin Petrovich Komardinkin . His name was given to Alpatiev secondary school. [1] . In 2008, a new monument to the soldiers-liberators was erected in the center of the village. The obelisk is engraved with the names of all the dead villagers who left the village of Alpatyevo for war. In 2017, the village of Alpatyevo became the village of the urban district of Lukhovitsy.
