Name Origin and History
The name is given for the former village of Novinki , which was not far from the 1960s, but not quite in the area of the current street, but a little to the north, where the tram line runs at the beginning of Sudostroitelnaya Street . In the area of Novinki Street, there was the village of Kolomenskoye , the remains of which were liquidated in the late 1980s .
The village of Novinki until the end of the 19th century (and partly later), as well as Kolomenskoye, was largely Old Believer ( non-circle ) [1] .
