Geographical position
Eitorf is located in the middle course of the Sieg River between the mountains of Bergisch and Westerwald , 25 km east of Bonn and 50 km southeast of Cologne . In the north, the commune (community) of Eitorf is bordered by the Ruppichteroth community, in the east by the Windeck community, in the south by the Westerwald communities of Asbach and Buchholz , as well as the Kircheib community of the Rhineland- Pzachine community (Buchholz), and the Kircheib community (Kircheib) of the Rhineland- Pfęze (Buchholz) community, as well as the Kircheib community (Kircheib) of the Rhineland- Pfän (Pfane) community . In the west, Eitorf is bordered by the city of Hennef .
The southern part of Eitorf is divided by the Aypbach Creek, which flows into Sieg, whose name is reflected in such toponyms as Aipdorf, Mühlipe and Oberipe. The natural border with the city of Hennef is Krabah Stream, also flowing from the south to Sieg. And from the north, the Ottersbach and Schmelzbach streams flow into the community on the territory of the community.
