History
The Bluetones began their career (the first year called “Botgarden”) with the style of brit-pop , whose heyday in the mid-90s saw the greatest successes of the team. So their very first album “Expecting to Fly” (from the English - “Hoping to fly”) in mid-1996 made its debut in the national charts immediately in first place, subsequently becoming platinum in the UK. Particularly successful was the song "Slight Return", by which many learned about the group.
Relatively successful were the two subsequent albums - "Return to Last Chance Saloon" (1998) and "Science & Nature" (2000), which hit the top-10 of the British chart. However, gradually, the group switched to indie rock, which led to a decline in their popularity. Released in "zero", three albums did not gain any success, and in 2011, the group held a farewell tour, ending in Osaka , Japan.
In 2015, The Bluetones gathered again to give several concerts in Britain .
