Cosmology of Martinus (also known as the Third Testament ) is a worldview developed over the course of 60 years by the Danes Martinus Thomsen after his insight, which occurred to him in 1921 at the age of 31 and after which, according to his own statements, an extensive transformation of his consciousness took place, which allowed him to see the basic principles of human existence and development. In his main essay Livets Bog (The Book of Life), he revealed the basics of his own life science. In addition to seven volumes of Livets Bog (totaling about 3,000 pages), he wrote about 40 other books and many articles in which, among other things, he described cosmic symbols that schematically represent the principles of the universe . Since he claimed that as a result of the revelation that had happened to him, he gained access to the cosmic (in the sense of its infinity) consciousness, his followers described his teachings as cosmology . Martinus himself called his collected works the Third Testament , since he considered it a continuation of the Bible , intended for people with a scientific and humanistic worldview, who sympathized with Christian ideas about love and forgiveness, but were not inspired by existing religions and their dogmas . Martinus claimed that he himself did not invent the laws of the universe that he presented, but that he simply describes the timeless cosmic principles that have always existed. His teaching does not include elements of mysticism or utopianism, since Martinus deliberately addressed critical thinkers. He wanted his words not to be taken for granted, but checked on the basis of his own life experience and analytical reasoning of a person, and from Cosmology only what was acceptable for a person was used. His phrase, with which he preceded many of his public speeches, became famous: “Take from Cosmology what you can use and leave the rest.”

- The purpose of life is existence itself, the whole variety of experiences and experiences that a living being receives. In this sense, all living things have absolutely equal value in the course of their evolutionary development.

After Martinus began his work in 1921, his teachings gradually spread throughout the world. Cosmology is not an object for organized missionary work, but it is being studied in many countries of the world. Martinus' works were translated into one and a half dozen languages, including Chinese .
The most famous center for the study of Cosmology in the world is the Martinus Institute in Copenhagen ( Denmark ). This is a private non-profit organization founded by Martinus. The Institute publishes or promotes the publication of Martinus' works in different languages, responds to requests for Cosmology , holds seminars at the training center in Clint (Denmark), publishes the KOSMOS magazine, covering the Institute’s activities and the development of Cosmology in the world, in seven languages, etc.
