The community was subordinate to the Dresden Land Directorate and was part of the Meissen district. Submitted to the management of Ketzerbachtal. The population was 1,411 people (as of December 31, 2010). It covers an area of 26.71 km². The official code is 14 2 80 190 .
The commune was subdivided into 15 rural districts: Baderzen, Dobschütz, Oylitz, Graupzig, Loiben, Lossen, Mertitz, Mettelwitz, Perba, Prateršyuts, Preda, Raslitz, Schleinitz, Vanitz, Vauden.
It was formed on January 1, 1993 by the union of the settlements of Leuben and Schleinitz. [1] On November 6, 2013, the Ketzerbachtal office announced self-dissolution, and by January 1, 2014, the community joined the city of Nossen .
