History
The first mention of the settlement dates back to 1185.
In 1974, Frankenstein was transformed into a commune, which also included the villages of Harta and Wingendorf .
January 1, 2012, after the reforms, Frankenstein and his villages became part of the urban district of Ederan , becoming its districts [1] .
