Story
A distinctive feature of the series, which distinguishes it from the general background, is the incredibly charismatic and atypical protagonist, Dr. Fitzgerald (Fitz). He is a professional psychologist who helps the Manchester police investigate crimes. And he is an incorrigible player, drunkard and just a charming fat man. But he is cute only with colleagues in skirts, for all the others he is a merciless beast who is able to look into the darkness of the criminal's soul, reach the very bottom, highlight hidden motives, splits with the most sophisticated protection.
The series focuses on the background of the actions of both criminals and "honest citizens". Crimes are shown not "in fact" and not "flashbacks", but in a live process with dramatic experiences of the heroes. The main villain in this series is not just a cold object, transgressing the norms, driven by the mechanical laws of evil, but an active drama character with his “truth”. What is even more interesting, cracking the "inhumans" who have committed an unworthy person, Fitz often comes to politically incorrect and impartial conclusions about the nature of a real person. And look after his reasoning and provocations is a real pleasure, because they are either too far from the truth, or too deep in it. And to complete the flavor bouquet, the plot of the series, besides the detective line, is filled with dramatic events in the family and the collective of the main characters.
